ABOUT KOENIG FARM:

Kathy and Mark raise a herd of approximately 100 Angora Goats on our family farm in Springfield, KY. Originally we started with a “herd” of two. As our knowledge increased, we selectively bred to improve the fineness and curliness of our mohair.

We are proud of the fact that we use all of the mohair produced on our farm. It is either spun into 100% mohair yarns for knitters, crocheters and weavers, crafted into a line of ornament kits, or washed and sold to crafters for Santa and Doll Curls.

The washing, dyeing, hand painting and spinning is done right at our spinning mill located on our family farm. We are excited to offer patterns that have just been designed by several wonderful knitting designers specifically for our yarns!
